287 Squadron has a very proud history stretching back even further than the formation of the ATC. Check our history section to find out more.
Are you an ex-Cadet? If so we would love to hear from you about your time with the Squadron. As 287 Squadron has always been a thriving Squadron it is good to hear the different things people have got out of the organisation. We are also trying to build up an accurate picture of the Squadron's past. If you can help with that, please get in touch.
Today, 287 Squadron is still one of the most active in Edinburgh. We parade approximately 20 Cadets twice a week, and we always have a good turnout for events. We make our voice heard, despite being a modest size.

Hello and welcome to the new website for 287 (Stenhouse) Squadron! We are a Squadron of the Air Training Corps based in the West of Edinburgh.
The purpose of the website is twofold. Firstly, it is designed to allow complete strangers to the organisation to find out more about us. Secondly, it is designed to be used as a source of information to our current Cadets.
You will find a great deal of information about the ATC and Squadron life. I hope you find it useful.
The ATC is thriving! We are one of over 900 Squadrons around the UK, so it is definitely worth joining us.
If you have any comments, questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact me.
